With solemn reverence, we commemorate Marlene Cadarette of Alpena, Michigan, whose life came to an end on September 24, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl VanNatter and Mabel VanNatter (Haken); her daughter Nancy Suszek; and her siblings, Betty Orm, Shirley Suszek, Mervin VanNatter, Gary VanNatter, Kenneth VanNatter and Doris Soltysiak.
She is survived by: her husband Richard; her children, Glen Suszek (Ramona), Allen Suszek, Peggy Suszek and Terry Suszek (Jo Ann); her stepdaughters, Michelle "Mickie" Cadarette (Kim Brown) and Dayna Cadarette; and her sisters, Linda Monroy, Sandy Copping, Patty St (Dave) and Sharon Wahoski (Stan). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707).
