It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew David Hanson of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Hanson and Constance Hanson (Higley); the mother of his children Lori Hanson; and his brother Mike. He is survived by : his daughters, Holli and Heidi Hanson; his stepchildren, Toni Markowiak and Joe Markowiak; and his wife Bobbi Markowiak.
