She was predeceased by: her husband John Wesley Udell, Sr.; her parents, Floyd Standen and Ethel Standen (Jacobs); her sister Eleanor Schrader; her son John Udell, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Standen (Joyce Standen).

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Witkowski (David), Deborah Udell, Judith Nowicki (Robert), Cindy LaMay (Ernest), Carol Sayan (Jerry) and Robin Ipock (Mark); her brothers, Howard and Ronald Standen; and her brother-in-law Floyd Standen. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (167 S Ripley Blvd, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations can be made to the First United Church of Alpena or Hospice of Michigan.
