Mitchell Craig Cousineau Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mitchell Craig Cousineau of Alpena, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Arnold Cousineau; his brothers, Paul M. Cousineau and Mark K. Cousineau; and his stepfather Gerald "Sam" Olsen. He is survived by: his mother Beverly Cousineau (Chapman) of Alpena; his nieces and nephews, Allison Cousineau Modrzynski of Alpena, Bradley Cousineau of Richmond, Virginia, Jason Cousineau of Flint and Jayne MacNeill (Dylan) of Alpena; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Owen, Colin Mischloney, Noah Modrzynski, Walter Weinkauf, Isla Weinkauf and Lainey MacNeill; and his sister-in-law Kimberly O'Neil of Vassar.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ (201 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
