He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bauer and Irene Bauer (O'Neil); and his sister Carol Ferguson (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Cathy DiMarzo; his daughters, Misty Dragiewicz (Ken) and Lora Bauer Carlson (Chris); his grandchildren, Eve, Faith, Reece, Finn, Indigo, Odin and Knox; and his siblings, Arnie, Linda Soltysiak (Dave), Barb Richard (Patrick), Ron Bauer (Debbie) and Karen Kaiser (Kim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (817 Sable St, Alpena, MI 49707). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
