He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Arthur and Rena Arthur (Doezema); and his brothers, Wiliam Arthur and Edward Arthur. He is survived by: his wife Iris Boboltz; his daughters, Jill Barry (Kevin) and Heidi White (Stephen); his grandchildren, Kate Barry, Meg Barry-Yother (Tony), Beth Barry, Taylor White and Madison White; his siblings, Darlene Kienzle, Trudy Fent, Carol Clavier (Dick), James Arthur and Gene Arthur (Wendy); and his sister-in-law Ann Arthur. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The military honors was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church - Alpena (727 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707).
