Robert Ellery Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Ellery of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on December 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Ellery to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mae Ellery (Minton); and his siblings, Eugene Ellery (Elaine), Joyce Standen, Shirley LaBarge (James) and Carol Antkowiak.
He is survived by: his father Raphael Ellery; his wife Carol Soltysiak; his children, Laura Ellery-Somers (Ted), Rhonda Ellery-Peterson (Ron) and Kenneth Ellery; his grandchildren, Brittany Skuse (Russ), Brandon Cramer (Sydney), Kayla Schuelke (Ryan), Courtney Keller (Tommy Moore) and Brock Ellery; his great grandchildren, Elliott Skuse, Ellery Mae Skuse, Capri Cramer, Braelynn Ellery and Lilah Ellery; his brother Dale Ellery (Rita); and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Standen and Walt Antkowiak. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Of All Saints Parish (817 Sable St, Alpena, MI 49707).
