It is with sadness that the passing of Lloyd Marvin DeVormer (Alto, Michigan) is shared. Lloyd, born on June 7, 1930, passed away on August 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Vicki Lynn and Lloyd "Skip" Marvin Jr.; and his parents, James Henry and Tanetta Louise DeVormer. He is survived by: his wife Doris Arlene; his children, Kim DeVormer (Brenda), Marlene Miller (Joe), Brenda Harvey (Don) and James DeVormer (Dena); his daughter-in-law Laura Webb; his grandchildren, Rachel, Ashleigh, David, Heather, Holly, Heidi, Jennifer, Christina, Erica, Vickie and Jacob; and his sister Evelyn Bruinekool. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
In memory of Lloyd and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community of Christ – Thornapple River Congregation, Optimal Care Hospice, or the Dementia Society of America.
