She was predeceased by: her husband James Burd; her children, Ricky Burd and Janice Verkerke (Richard); and her siblings, Frank Sherington, Don Sherington (Alantha), Carl Sherington, Joyce Slater and Artis Heers (Bobby).
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Burd; her granddaughters, Monica Roes (Josh) and Jennifer Duprey (Brandon); and her great grandchildren, Ryan and Janice Duprey.
