She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lefler and Goldie Lefler (Rowe); and her brother-in-law Keith Whittaker. She is survived by: her sister Debra Whittaker (David Samri); her nephew David Whittaker; and her niece Julia Whittaker. She is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
Brenda dedicated much of her career to working as a caregiver, where she was especially devoted to caring for residents living with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
