He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert E. Meyer and Rozella L. Meyer (Marsh). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Meyer; his sons, Michael Meyer (Heather) and Kevin Meyer (Theresa); his grandchildren, Ben Meyer (Makenzie), Andrew Meyer, Alex Meyer and Audrey Meyer; and his sister Barbara Henry (Allen).
