We are sad to announce that, on September 17, 2025, at the age of 95, David Woodbury Jr. MD (Ann Arbor, Michigan) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Woodbury Jr. MD to pay them a last tribute.
Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Claytor Woodbury; his children, Arline, Brenda (Bruce), Laura, Kathryn, Lawrence and David III; and his sisters-in-law, Delores Woodbury and Roberta Palmer. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the David H. Woodbury Sr. and David H. Woodbury, Jr. Scholarship at Johnson C. Smith University, The Fitzbutler Jones Scholarship at the University of Michigan Medical School, or the Scholarship Fund at Bethel A.M.E. Church in Ann Arbor, MI.
