She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Trethewey and Clarice Trethewey; and her husband Rodney Katka (Rod). She is survived by: her daughter Christina (Wally Schmid); her grandchildren, Oliver and Ihla Schmid; her brother Brian Trethewey; her nieces, Kimberly Fortuna (Trethewey) and Melissa Zorn (Trethewey); and her cousins, Charlene Marculis (Lobb), Faye Crain (Lobb) and Carolee Rickabaugh (Lobb).
