In the sacred silence of farewell, Elaine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Elaine's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Leslie Biegel (Amy) and Jill Biegel; her grandchildren, Nora Biegel and Josh Biegel; her brother Dr. Joel Saper (Marjorie Winters); and her parents, Jeanette Saper and Leonard Saper. She was also cherished by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

“I (Al) first met Elaine in 1979 at her brother Joel's home, during the first year of Michigan Headache and Neurological Institute. I have many fond recollections of her over the years, from family celebrations to which we were graciously invited, and through her years of working at MHNI when my wife Leslie also came to know and appreciate her.
