He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Hewens and Lottie Hewens; Clare and Jesse. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Burrell; his daughters, Janice Flinn (Paul) of Anacortes, Susan Poore of Anacortes, Cynthia Hewens of Ann Arbor, MI. and Sally Hewens of Ann Arbor, MI.; his sister-in-law Janice Helvey; and his nephews, James, Dr. Daniel Helvey, Richard Hewens and David Hewens. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandson.
