He is survived by: his wife Carol Marshall; his daughter Laureen Smith (Guy); his grandchildren, Jared Smith of Asheville, NC, Savannah Palazzolo (Anthony) of Southfield, MI and Tessa Timmerman (Cameron) of Everett, WA; and his siblings-in-law, Marion Marshall of Grand Haven, Rick and Marilyn Schiefelbein of Portland, OR. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
