He was predeceased by: his daughter Beata Walkowc (Tunia). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Walkowc; and his daughter Agnieszka Walkowc.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee—a cause Janusz deeply supported.
