Judith Ruth Haswell Scanlon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Ruth Haswell Scanlon of Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Haswell and Joyce D. Haswell; her husband Earl Scanlon; her sister Janet; and her brother-in-law Rhudy Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Scanlon, James Scanlon (Maura Poshka), Mary Plews (Don) and Barbara Scanlon; and her grandchildren, Patrick Plews (Beth), Emily Plews (Rob Morton), Melanie McCarthy (Mark) and Kristen Plews (Adam Swejk). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stark Funeral Home (101 S Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
