We announce the death of Kay Guenther of Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 91. Kay will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Austin and Della Austin (Teachout); her husband Victor Guenther; her son Michael Guenther; and her brothers, Gene Austin and Gerald "Jerry" Austin.

She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Wellet (Mark); her grandchildren, Matthew Guenther (Lauren), Nicholas Wellet (Lisa), Brendan Guenther, Stephanie Wellet and Bradley Guenther; her great grandchildren, Charles, Holly Wellet, Avery and Grant Guenther; her sister Janice Charter (Jerry); and her sisters-in-law, Jan Austin, Rose Austin, Mildred Guenther, Esther Gross (Ralph) and Elizabeth Sutherland (Donald). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
