He was predeceased by: his parents, Hsien-Ta Cheng and Hui-Ming Yang Cheng; and his brother Chung-Te Cheng. He is survived by: his wife Hsing-Jung Lu; his sons, Luke Cheng and Jesse Cheng; his daughter-in-law Susanne Sheng; and his sister Te-Feng Cheng.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Ann Arbor Chinese Christian Church (1750 Dhu Varren Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105).
