It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norman E. Wanty of Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Norman may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Norman touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark W. Wanty and Calista Wanty (Butts); his wife Bonnie Wicks; his siblings, Barbara and Mark Jr.; his sister-in-law Betty; his siblings' children, Kathy and Christopher Pendell; and his brother-in-law Royal Pendell.

He is survived by: his sons, Steve Pendell (Cathy), Tracy Pendell (Dana) and Maurice Pendell; and his sister Janet Pendell.

A reception was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home (424 E Main St, Stockbridge, MI 49285).
