He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Peter P. Pieh and Nancy N. Pieh; and his wife Elizabeth "Akosua" Pieh. He is survived by: his children, Luseni Pieh (Melissa Vargas) and Dr. Nyota Pieh (Peter Vasquez); his grandchildren, Marley Vasquez, Alessandro Pieh and Diego Pieh; and his siblings, Samuel, Michael, Mae, Solomon and Hannah. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Community United Methodist Church (15888 Archdale St, Detroit, MI 48227). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
