He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Fiegel and Ester Fiegel; his in-laws, Herman and Rubena Boelter; his brothers, Roland Fiegel (Betty) and Robert Fiegel; his brother-in-law Eldean Boelter; and his grandson Nicholas Belanger.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadine Fiegel; his children, Laurie Belanger (Van), Linda Fiegel and Dave Fiegel (Shelly); his grandchildren, Kelsey Masten (Cody), Courtney Sterlitz (AJ) and Nathaniel Fiegel (Cami Betz); his great grandchildren, Eva, Owen and Max Masten; his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Fiegel and Barbara Mason; and his friend Diana DiJulio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made directly to the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the family to be designated at a later time.
