He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Goffas and Panagiota Goffas; his children, Susan Colburn, George Goffas, Patricia Goffas and Tom Goffas (Catherine); and his grandchildren, Thomas Colburn, Peter Goffas, Sophia Goffas, Audrianna Goffas and Alexander Goffas. He was also cherished by many loving nephews, nieces, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (3109 Scio Church Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
