He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Purdy and Cecil Purdy. He is survived by: his sister Eva; his wife Marilyn Mae Grussing; his children, Doug Purdy of Edina, MN, Deb Winter (Jim), Dianna Carlson (Rob) of Auburndale, FL and Dawn Vozar (Mike) of Coldwater, MI; his grandson Justin Winter of Westland, MI; his children, Reid Winter (Brittany) of Onsted, MI and Erin Hudak (Stephen); and his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Caulder, Maverick Winter, Blake, Sutton Winter, Sigrid, Otto Hudak and Ada Carlson.
