With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Hoepner (Ann Arbor, Michigan), born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Hoepner and Agnes Hoepner (Marion); his sisters, Janet Maurin and Arlene Kruzan (James); his siblings-in-law, David King and Diane King; and his nephew Fred Zingsheim.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia King; his sons, Joshua Hoepner (Anita) and Patrick Hoepner; his grandchildren, Riley, Wolfgang and Jase; and his nieces and nephews, John Maurin (Lynn), Paul Maurin (Carol), Diane Zingsheim and Linda Daniel (Courtney).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church.
