He was predeceased by: his parents, James MacLean and Jean MacLean (MacMillan); and his sister Judy Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Mravlja MacLean; his daughter Heather Jean Chichester (David); his granddaughter Maggie Jean Chichester; and his siblings, Barbara Jean Lindsay (Chris) and Ken MacLean (Sara). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
He was present for every Wolverine game from 1971 until his streak was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
