He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard McElmeel and Katherine McElmeel (McCartin); and his brother-in-law Harry McFarland (Eileen). He is survived by: his children, Kerri McElmeel, Lee McElmeel (Shannon Helmuth), Kelly Alexander (Alex) and Cory McElmeel (Heidi); his grandchildren, Max, Lauren Caruso, Susana, William Alexander, Ethan, Mikey and Aiden McElmeel; his siblings, Jim (Bev), Eileen, Tom (Ellen), Maureen, Kathy (Paul), Patty (Andy) and Peggy; the mother of his children Suzanne McElmeel; and his close friend Cindy Barber. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
