He is survived by: his daughter Abigail "Abbie" Lawrence-Jacobson (Alan Jacobson); his grandchildren, Micah Jacobson and Oliver Jacobson; his niece Judge Bonnie Orden (Stewart); his nephew Dr. Alan Raymond (Cindy); his great-nephews, Jason, Justin, Adam and Tyler; his great-niece Molly; and his former wife Anne Lawrence.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Temple Beth Emeth (2309 Packard St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104). A reception was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Residence of Abbie Lawrence-Jacobson and Alan Jacobson (4765 St Andrews Ct, Ann Arbor, MI 48108).
