Sotirios Roumanis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sotirios Roumanis in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sotirios Roumanis to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dimitrios Roumanis and Panagiota Roumanis; and his brother Ilias Roumanis (Anastasia). He is survived by : his children, Dimitri Roumanis and Aphrodite Papanastasopoulos (Konstantinos); his siblings, Eleni Michos (late Niko), Yiannis Roumanis (Vivi) and Thanasis Roumanis (Sophia); and the mother of his children Iris Isabelle Pamphilis Haines. He is also survived by friends and family.

Sam, as a former Vice President of the Modern Greek Foundation, helped establish the Modern Greek Department at the University of Michigan.
