He was predeceased by: his parents, John Szalay and Mary Szalay (Koleszar); and his brother John Szalay. He is survived by: his wife Caroline DeWolf; his son Andy J. (Becca Sage); his grandson Andrew John Szalay Jr.; and his sibling-in-law DeWolf. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tiffany-Young-Hauss Modetz Chapel (73919 Fulton St, Armada, MI 48005). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be appreciated to Henry Ford Hospice.
