It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Andrew Murphy Sr. (Armada, Michigan), who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alex Murphy and Jessie Murphy (Conway); his wife Carole Rose Filipiak; his children, Michael Murphy Jr. (Janice), Daniel Murphy (Maria), Kelly Murphy (Mini) and Diane Jordan (Bill); his grandchildren, Jenny, Mareeca, Megan, Alyssa Intermaggio (Chaz), Nicole, Kevin, Alex, Allie Junge (Brendon), Brendan, Shana, Madison, Kaylie and Maya; and his great grandchildren, Caden, Gabrielle, Brady and Charlie.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Tiffany-Young-Hauss Modetz Chapel (73919 Fulton St, Armada, MI 48005). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Mystical Rose Catholic Church (24040 Armada Ridge Rd, Armada, MI 48005).
