He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard G. Wonsey and Martha Wonsey (Long) of Kalkaska County, MI.; his wife Nancy Jean Wonsey (Corneille); his children, James Wonsey (Lea) of New Tazewell, TN, Cynthia Randall (Ron) of Attica, MI and Lori Hall of Marlette, MI.; and his siblings, Joe Wonsey, Dave Wonsey, Dawn Ostrander and Gale May Wonsey.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jason Wonsey (Delyn), James Wonsey, Jr., Tracy Willin, Jamie Jones (Thomas), Andrea Vandeberghe (Kyle), Cody Hall (Ravyn), Skye Bolsby (Dan), Brandon Hall (Kelsey), Jenna Richards (Jason), Rindy Chaffee (Dan), Ashley Skobler (Casey), Chelsea McDonald (Andrew) and Wesley Randall (Brandy); and his siblings, Carlene Morningstar, Julie Gagnon, Donna Powers, John Wonsey (Gale), Donald Corneille (Roxanne) and Danny Corneille (Cindy).
