She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcel Vereecke and Catherine Vereecke (Vince); and her husband Lloyd Joseph Seifert. She is survived by: her children, Mindy Beracy of Ashley, MI, Becka (Bill Bongard), Mark (Michelle Seifert), Gina (Eric Wang), Jon (Stephanie Seifert), Rena (Phil House) and Deanna (Steve Hardman); and her sister Annette Akers of Adrian, MI. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (1333 E Center St, Ithaca, MI 48847). A rosary was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (621 E Center St, Ithaca, MI 48847). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the North Star Cemetery (3123 E Johnson Rd, Ithaca, MI 48847).
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
