With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Esther Lilly of Athens, Michigan, who passed away on July 15, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Moerdyk and Esther Moerdyk; her brother Herbert Moerdyk (David Lilly); and her son-in-law Brian Carpenter. She is survived by: her husband David Lilly; her daughters, Diane Garlets (Gregory) and Patricia Hurlbert (Lawrence Ed Jr.); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Carpenter (Carmen), Dawn Converse, Valorie Rownd (Pastor Philip), Thomas Hurlbert (Taryn), Matthew Garlets (Lisa) and David Hurlbert (Stephanie).

Memorial donations may be made to Factoryville Bible Church, 33650 Factoryville Road, Athens, Michigan. 49011.
