He was predeceased by: his parents, N. Fay Bornor and Eleanor Bornor; his former wife Doris Mellin; his daughter Elizabeth; and his stepdaughter Tina Erskine.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Bornor; his children, W. Mark Bornor (Kathy Ambler), Sandy Bornor (Dan Browning) and Sally Johnson (Jerry); his stepdaughters, Teresa Farah (Mike) and Michele Trevathan; his grandchildren, Charles, Dearman (Jodie), Erin Spohn (Patrick), Meredith Oâ, Ben Smith (Colleen), Becca Parris (Drew), Keely Browning (Gareth), Connor Browning and Kevin Browning; and his stepgrandchildren, Heather McCarthy (Kevin), Holly Larue (Steve), Michael Erskine and Graham Trevathan. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bill Bornor Athletic Assistance Fund at the Athens Community Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in honor of his hard-fought battle with dementia.
