James Pote Obituary
We announce the death of James Pote of Attica, Michigan, born in Auburn Hills, Michigan, who passed away on May 31, 2026, at the age of 84. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Craig Pote and Vivian Pote; his brothers, Craig Jan Pote and William Jay Pote; and his grandson Jeffrey Todd Birkenhauer, Jr. (Friends).
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Pote; his daughters, Lisa Davis (Marty) and Linda Birkenhauer (Jeff); his grandchildren, Kara Hastings (Cory), Alex Davis (Lauren), Jaclin Spinney (Vann) and Alicia Mucha (Miroslav); his great grandchildren, Jameson, Kacie, Ryatt, Peggy, Navy, Eleanor and Mirko; and his siblings, John Lee Pote and Jill Lanni. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
