With sadness, we share the passing of Richard Schalau of Attica, Michigan. Richard, born on May 4, 1944, passed away on October 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schalau and Mildred Schalau (Snover); his wife Diane Moore; his daughter Maryann Estrada; his grandson Brendan McKewen; and his siblings, Henry Schalau, Paul Schalau, Greg Schalau, Edward Schalau and Linda Bailey.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Jenel Wagner (Nathaniel) of Attica, MI; his great grandchildren, Trenton, Aubrey, Alyvia, Xzavier and Collin; and his siblings, Karen Carpenter, Mildred Yoder and Walter Schalau.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lapeer County Sportsman Club (1213 N Lake George Rd, Attica, MI 48412).
