He was predeceased by: his parents, Claire Coleman and Albert Coleman; his sister Marlene; and his former wife Karen. He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Coleman (Lauren) and Thomas Coleman; his grandson Dylan Coleman; his brother Robert Coleman; and his caregivers, Tonya Brahier of Battle Creek and Becky Edmonds of AuGres. He is also survived by many extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buresh Funeral Home - AuGres (101 E Michigan Ave, Au Gres, MI 48703). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please direct any memorial contributions towards the Special Olympics (Special Olympics, Attn: Memorial/Honor Giving, 2600 Virginia Avenue NW, 11th Floor, Washington, DC 20037), as Rick's son Tommy attended it for many years.
