He was predeceased by : his daughter Renee Verno (late Charlie); his siblings, Adeline Hill, George Knoppe, Bill Knoppe and Steve Knoppe; and the mothers of children, Carole Knoppe and Invo Spline.

He is survived by : his children, Valerie Nelson, Wendy Rogelle-Nardone (Michael), Tim Knoppe (Donna) and Jon Knoppe (Bonnie); and his siblings, John Knoppe and Judy Baldridge.
