He was predeceased by: his father James Cole; his siblings, Dorothy, Theodis, Richard, Barbara Jean, Velois, Pearlean and Shirley; his nephew Reuben Tompkins; his close friend Tyrone "Ta Dow" Jones; and his former wife Yvonne Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Nakita Cole (Frederick, Sr.) and Jerry Cole, Jr. (Betty); his grandchildren, Maia, Frederick, Jr., Nahdea, Z'Nya, Syre, Brooklyn and Lachelle; and his siblings, Vera and Roosevelt. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home (268 North Perry St, Pontiac, MI 48342). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
