He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian Gerrard; his parents, Walter Gerrard and Catherine Gerrard; and his siblings, Dorothy, Walter and George.

He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Kimmel (Frank) and Julie Prutow (Gerald); and his grandchildren, Jacob (Rachael), Sophie and Elijah.
