She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Wilfred; her children, David Shepherd (Julie), Cathy Carroll (John) and Thomas Shepherd (late Sherry); her grandchildren, Tracy (Bryce), Sarah (Bishal), Brian, Kyle, John Paul (Holly), Steven, Andrew, Trevor (Sara) and Kristen; and her great grandchildren, Corbin, Tanis, Ayden, Julius, Noah, Colin, Adaline and Lucas.
