With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Dziad Wood of Auburn Hills, Michigan, born in Fostoria, Ohio, who passed away on November 8, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Storey and Wilma Storey (Hammer); her brothers, James and Thomas; and her former husband Pantalejmon Dziad, MD.
She is survived by: her husband Harley A. Wood; her children, Stephanie Dziad (Bill Matthews), Jennifer Dziad (Pierre Chouvy) and Gregory Dziad (Katie); her stepchildren, Peter Dziad, MD (Amy), Stephen Dziad (Chris), Anthony Dziad (Denise), Scott Wood (Beth) and Angie Bullard (Jeff); her sisters, Mary Culver (David) and Jane Snyder (Michael); and her sister-in-law Torda Storey. She is also survived by grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, Ohio, St. Francis de Sales High School in Toledo, Ohio, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
