A. and Ida Parent; her husband William Wallace "Wally" Newman; her son Tim Newman (Sheree); and her siblings, Adelia Ringl (late Steve), Owen Parent (late Rose), Virginia Parent, Leona Gay (late Walter), Bishop Allen Parent (late Margie), Bishop William Parent (late Delores), Roy Parent and Elva McVety (late Clare).
She is survived by: her children, Dan Newman (Mary), Mark Newman (Judith) and Ida Trachsel (Stephen); and her sister Anna Bowen (late Daniel). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and many extended family members and dear friends.
