He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane Newman. He is survived by: his pets, Pepper, Frisky, Tootsie, Roxy, Grand, Martini and Bokeh; his daughter Erin Poltorak (Brandon Poltorak); his grandchildren, Finnley and Hudson; his sisters, Missy Anderson and Janet Newman-Rinck (Paul); his nephew Jon Harrod (Jennifer); and his caregiver Katie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. (312 W Midland Rd, Auburn, MI 48611).
