With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace M. Stinton of Auburn, Michigan, born in Tiverton, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 19, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Almeida and Gertrude Almeida; her son Paul Thomas; and her sister Gertrude Cain. She is survived by : her children, Patricia Stinton-Harper (Bill) of Lansing, Penny Landosky (Russ) of Midland, Shannon Kica (Len) of Midland, Colleen Stinton-Czuprynski (Bill) of Freeland, Mary Marshall (Jerry) of Midland, Trudy Fernette (Mike) of Midland, Michael P. Stinton, Jr. of Lexington, SC and Joe Stinton (Jamie) of Columbia, SC.; her grandchildren, Julie Nelson, Dennis Nelson (Amanda), John Landosky, Mary Kica Embry, Amy Arnold (Chad), Sarah Nehmer (James), David Stinton-Czuprynski (Ben), Chastity Bouma (Brian), Shawn Stinton, Justin Stinton, Cristina Christman (Jason), Andy Cliff (Felisha) and Joe Fernette (Alex); and her niece Candy Seel (Jerry) of Providence. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.

“To Grace's wonderful family - I always enjoyed our visits at the salon where I was your mom's stylist for many years! She always amazed me with her stories and sharp memory. Her family was by far her most treasured gift. Grace enjoyed the family gatherings at her home on Wednesdays and Sundays. I was fortunate enough to have Penny give me a "tour" of her lovely home and show me many of the handmade items in Grace's huge collection of crafts and items from all over the world! I feel so blessed ❣️”
