With sadness, we share the passing of Herta Lina Jaschinsky (Auburn, Michigan). Herta, born on January 6, 1928, passed away on June 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Gerdes and Erna Gerdes (Langer); her husband Siegfried; her daughter Ruth Wentz; and her siblings, Christa Padeken, Anni Jaschinsky and Gerhard Gerdes.
She is survived by: her children, Sigrid Spittka (Reinhard) of Midland, Lisa Sanders of Midland and Charles Wentz of Midland; her great great grandchildren, Annelise, Georgiana, Savannah, Charlotte, Bennett, John-Maverick and Quincy; her sisters, Ursula Diekmann and Elli Jankowski; and her sister-in-law Maike Gerdes (Dora Clark). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
