Violet S. Koehler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet S. Koehler of Auburn, Michigan, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Rinas and Eleanor Rinas (Landosky); her husband William Koehler; her sons, Richard F. Koehler and David Allen Koehler; and her brothers, Clarence Rinas and Kenneth Rinas.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Koehler (Karen) of Auburn, Debra Kurmis of Hamlin, NY, Pamela Rugenstein (John) of West Branch and Brian Koehler of Cave City, KY.; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Kappen (Wally), Lucille Koehler (George) and Shirley Rinas (Clarence). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (303 Ruth St, Auburn, MI 48611). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Floral Gardens Cemetery (2215 Cass Avenue Rd, Bay City, MI 48708).
