She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Riddle and Esther Riddle (Colley); her husband Marvin Dew; and her half-brother Virgil Beckham. She is survived by: her friend Lorene; and her children, Danny Dew (Gail Johnson) of Brooklyn, Michigan, Gary Dew (Lynda) of Willis, Michigan, Randall Dew (Naomi Castro) of Fayetteville, Marsha Dew (Walt Storms) of Romulus, Michigan and Timothy Dew (Rene) of Southgate, Michigan.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, along with several step-grandchildren/great-grandchildren/great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ypsilanti Missionary Baptist Church (7180 S Huron River Dr, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ypsilanti Missionary Baptist Church, as Evelyn requested.
